For more than a decade, ServiceTonic has evolved alongside these organizations, adapting its Service Management platform to new business areas, countries and operational requirements.
The result is a relationship built not only on technology, but also on flexibility, continuous improvement and the ability to respond to increasingly complex service management needs.
From a local Help Desk to a global Service Management platform
The journey started in 2014, when SEAT & CUPRA’s After Sales department was looking for a better way to support its network of more than 250 dealerships across Spain.
The objective was to simplify request management, improve service quality and increase operational efficiency. After evaluating different solutions, ServiceTonic was selected for a pilot project.
The results quickly demonstrated the value of the platform. Dealerships gained an intuitive way to submit and track their requests, while the After Sales team benefited from a centralized environment for managing, tracking and resolving them efficiently.
The success of the initial project soon led to a much broader rollout. ServiceTonic expanded globally, eventually supporting more than 1,200 SEAT & CUPRA dealerships and importers worldwide, while other business areas adopted their own ServiceTonic environments according to their specific operational requirements.
“ServiceTonic is a key enabler of digitalization at SEAT & CUPRA, delivering real value to the management and efficiency of our services.”
Kai Schumann – Digitalization & New Developments, SEAT S.A.
Growing across brands, countries and business areas
As the benefits of the platform became clear, the collaboration continued to expand.
In late 2019, Volkswagen’s Parts division selected ServiceTonic to support its global importer network. The implementation was successfully completed in 2020, despite the exceptional circumstances created by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Audi and Škoda subsequently adopted ServiceTonic across different business areas, using the platform to centralize requests, streamline processes and standardize workflows across increasingly complex international environments.
Today, thousands of users rely on ServiceTonic from major operational centers in Germany, Spain and the Czech Republic, while the platform supports business operations across an international network extending to countries such as the United States, India, China, Mexico, France, Belgium and Poland.
“ServiceTonic is more than just a software platform – it enables us to steer, measure and continuously optimize the communication with our customers worldwide – and ServiceTonic and its team support us every step of the way.”
Caroline Besent – Wholesale Relations, Volkswagen AG
Flexibility to support complex organizations
One of the key factors behind this long-term relationship has been ServiceTonic’s ability to adapt to different brands, departments and operational models.
Each business area can configure workflows and processes according to its own requirements while remaining within a consistent Service Management platform and governance model.
This flexibility has made it possible to support complex organizational structures, integrate with corporate systems, work across multiple ServiceTonic environments and operate in different languages and countries.
At the same time, capabilities such as self-service, knowledge bases, service catalogs, dashboards, KPIs and reporting have helped teams improve efficiency and gain greater visibility over their services.
“One of ServiceTonic’s greatest strengths is its ability to adapt to the different needs of each brand while maintaining a consistent platform and governance model across international operations. This flexibility has been key to our success.”
Martin Burkoň – After Sales Management, Škoda Auto a.s.
The next chapter: Artificial Intelligence
More than ten years after the first implementation, the partnership continues to evolve.
Artificial Intelligence is now opening a new stage in the way services are delivered. Virtual Assistants and Copilot capabilities are already helping teams across SEAT & CUPRA, Volkswagen and Audi increase self-service adoption, improve user experience and make everyday work more efficient.
For ServiceTonic, this is a natural continuation of a relationship that has always evolved alongside changing business needs.
“The introduction of Artificial Intelligence capabilities in ServiceTonic has had a very positive impact, making everyday work easier while enhancing the quality of the service we provide.”
Nadine Eismann – Service Technik Garantie, AUDI AG
